Chartered Professional Accountant – Burlington
Angus Shuttleworth is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Licensed Public Accountant practicing in the Greater Toronto Area. With an office just off of the QEW in Burlington, Angus serves clients in Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and surrounding areas. Angus is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (CICA) and the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (ICAO).
Angus graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting. He began his career at one of the world’s largest and most prestigious accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant and gained experience in Audit and Tax Services. His years spent in public practice working with a wide range of clients from owner-managed businesses to Fortune 500 companies provided Angus with a wealth of knowledge and skills. Angus uses his extensive experience to provide high-quality, individualized service to his clients.
Actively engaged in his community, Angus is a member of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the Halton-Peel CPA Ontario Association. He is the Treasurer of Solidarity in Action, a non-profit organization he co-founded in 2006 that promotes social justice in developing communities around the world. An avid dragonboat athlete, Angus represented Canada in the Club Crew World Championships in Malaysia in 2008.
While Angus’s competitive boat racing days have taken a backseat to work and family life, you can still find him on the water in the family boat, which he launches from various points in Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and the Niagara Region. Angus knows how to navigate choppy waters, whether on a lake, or with personal or corporate accounting.
